What a bizarre movie that was. It’s like if Tim Burton watched Hellraiser and The Matrix and then had a weird fever dream about it. It was very goth and bdsm (as expected with the director of The Crow) but it also had sort of a 1930s film noir/art deco thing going on? Idk it’s like it couldn’t pick an aesthetic. It was kind of all over the place and the amphetamine like pacing doesn’t really give you a chance to breathe and take it all in.Joao_Carlos
