How does one save time and money on a novelty project such as this? Looooong dialogue scenes in a single location. The only editing consists of switching the camera back and forth between speakers, the same shot on repeat for about ten minutes. Do this eight or ten times and that's more than half your movie shot in one week's time.

This is not Tarantino in true form, this is Tarantino horsing around. He is undoubtedly a master of dialogue but the dialogue in Death Proof is really bad...or was it supposed to be bad? That would be rather convenient.

The movie is good, of course, because Tarantino is talented and always does his best to entertain.
But it's way too misogynous.
The dismembering of women is annoying.
One could argue that there's female revenge at some point, but I found that Tarantino had less fun shooting the revenge than he had squaring off the ladies.
Bad.
