One of the first full-length horror films and hugely influential but due to availability problems is a little hard to get through. The DVD that is available in America by Alpha Video is severely edited down to 41 minutes. The full version is available on Youtube which is how I viewed it. Unfortunately, this version is pretty blurry and it is almost impossible to make out facial expressions which makes up a lot of the storytelling in silent films. As far as silent versions of Faust go, I prefer the later Murnau version from 1926. 8 years 7 months ago -
