First movie by Paul Verhoeven. Shot in the Dutch student city Leiden. Only 30 minutes long but lots and lots of influences of acclaimed directors Hitchcock, Ingmar Bergman and even Buñuel and Godard. Somewhat unbalanced, but fascinating work of a fledgling director.
