This is mostly about the life stories of bit actors on Star Wars. The action figure scenes at the beginning only serve to tell you who the actors played if you are super familiar with the bit characters of the movie, which I am not. Would have been more helpful to properly introduce the actor/character matches in the beginning rather than a half hour into the movie. It also suffers immensely by not having the rights to show any movie footage from the films. There are countless times when actual footage would have been perfect and yet it never comes.
I think the editing tends to fail the movie because instead of linking the actor's stories back to Star Wars they sometimes delve into everyday life stories which just aren't that interesting nor relevant to Star Wars at all. A somewhat interesting watch. It isn't so much a Star Wars story as it is a human story. Be forewarned. 6 years 7 months ago
