And why do people love to compare every series that has a young protagonist to star wars ?? first it was harry potter and now this.
Think having Avril Lavigne on the soundtrack said it all really - Looks nice enough but shallow, vapid and pointless.

Almost hard to believe this is so bad, cliché and a basic rip off Star Wars with dragons thrown in instead of the force. You'd think a 14 year old wrote it... oh wait...The movie is even worse than the books though. Be warned. I wonder how much they paid all these illustrious actors to put their names on that turd.
