   A lot of people aren't going to like this film because it's not what they were expecting or are more comfortable with Hollywood style filmmaking. It's not especially easy viewing, nor is it perfect, but it is a gripping, troubling and intelligent film. Gallo, in virtually every frame and silent throughout, is phenomenal. Beware the 'worst film I've ever seen' brigade- it's one to see if you follow world cinema. 13 years ago
