   So bad... compared to the 2013 version.
   
   The acting alone I knew within the first 20 minutes, I got myself in over my head.
   
   No realism at all, no spoiler.. but don't expect ANYONE to act realistic in ANY situation they will remain staring, not running, or trying to escape.
   
   If your fine with C tier movies, give it a go, but don't hold a candle to the 2013 version, in gore or acting. 4 months 2 weeks ago

   It can't compare to Evil Dead's 50,000 gallons of blood used for a single scene, but I wouldn't be surprised if this one was at least in the top 5 bloodiest horror flicks. I liked how, as it turned out, few of the major characters had any plot armor at all which was a welcome surprise but it's nearly impossible to give a hoot about any of them. Reviewers seem to knock the lack of comedy but I think it had tons of it, well, unintentional comedy at least. It's hard to think of a single action by any of the characters that wasn't straight up comical considering the situations they find themselves in. There are horror films that are genuinely scary and others that you feel are more suited to a group watch with your friends so you can laugh your rear ends off, this one's the latter. 1 week 6 days ago
