This movie is not an adaptation from the novel, it's a travesty to it. The action happens in the digital age, with internet and social media and the internet, like that's going to work with the fireman theme of the novel. Now the firemen burn hard drives. In the digital age there are no books and it's VERY EASY to hide books in digital format so firemen would be beaten easily in this universe, it's just stupid.

The message of the movie changes from "society wants to have mindless distraction and books are dangerous because they're too complex and bring suffering" to "books are bad because I say so".

There are IA's in houses which serve no purpose at all. Drugs that erase memory which just serve for the MC to forget about his past with books. And firemen periscope their raids to the city like that's not gonna alert people to hide their books.

All of this nonsense is non-existant in the book. All added for no purpose. It stinks of a repurposed script which got a comb over to have Farenheit 451 over it's shiny bald head.

A good modernized adaptation of an overrated novel. (Bradbury’s original would have been better as a 30 pg short story)

Può piacere a chi è piaciuto Equilibrium, ma per la trama, non per l'azione (assente nel film). Viceversa, se a qualcuno piace questo film può vedersi Equilibrium.
