Way too violent for me. The message could have been delivered in a much less violent way and still have the same effect. This would not be in my top 250 list. I don't think I could even stand to watch it again.Ilikechicken
The twist is fantastic and the plot for the most part was good, but I thought ending could have been better.nick-samuel
It has been quite a few years since I've seen this film, definitely need to watch it again in 2014. Having watched 25th hour and a few other films, Norton is growing on me.SkilledLunatic
Oh man... Anarchist's wet dream. Very good story and direction and is nice too see some references to Ingmar Bergman "Persona" which has an heavy influence on this movie. There is a lot of machismo thought, I mean where are all the women?ALSO STOP SPOILING THE END, NOT EVERYONE HAS SEEN THIS MOVIE!

In the end, i didn't quite get it. But then I just looked at the screen while saying "WTF". I love the Pixies and hearing that song at the end, just knocked me out. Very nice movie, two of my favorite actors, great work. However, I have to say I had higher expectations, mainly because of the top10 in IMDB. I think it doesn't deserve it.

was expecting the great "twist" but seriously enjoyed this movie. dark, gritty in a world where the underdog is crushed underfoot. superb plot, excellent acting, great support cast and david fincher giving us a masterpieceTommyVF
Really enjoyed the film in many ways. Don't know if I catched the message, but maybe it has to do with humans' need to feel meaningful, special or alive, as well as the modern, urban world with all its alienation, chaos, fear and technology. Loved the athmosphere, the mood (colors, camera stuff...) and the acting.marlarkey
This is a good film but #13 best of all time, really ? :sSuzanne
I felt mindfucked as hell. The last song, Where Is My Mind by Pixies, just made the part. It's unbelievable how a movie from a whole different background, continent, decade and society can affect and touch someone so deeply.I love Palahniuk. And this movie was better than any movie based on a book, ever.

The scariest non-horror film ever.cyphax
Before seeing this film, I figured it would be some dumb action film. I had no expectations, other than "It's probably going to suck". I admit to knowing little about it, if anything at all. One day, somehow, I actually watched it. I now can't understand how I could've been this wrong. Actually, I do. I judged this film on the title and the knowledge that it's a bit violent. I now hope that David Fincher will one day forgive me for this huge mistake. I've seen this film 3 or 4 times and it pretty much ranks #1 on my list of favorite movies. It's crude, it's different, it's artsy, it's creative, it's something I'd never seen before - and haven't since. I think I can't think of a single thing about this film that I don't like. It's nothing short of a masterpiece. I salute you, David Fincher, for making Fight Club.arunraj

My favorite performance from Edward Norton is from this movie. Brad Pitt played his part well and putting both of them on screen was a treat. This movie immediately brought to mind Memento and had a few similarities.Love this movie & i watch it every time its on screen.
