Get a video editing software and order the scenes the way you want, and it'll probably make more sense than the director's cut. This shit is all over the place, and it's strictly surrealist in the automatist sense. Proof that surrealism (here in cinema for that matter) is overrated af anyway.
I really wish there had been more dancing in this! I started to get bored half way through the movie :| I must say that I do love the soundtrack to bits. Gotta love every single song on it!
A very sexy movie with an unparallelled attractive lead performance from Jennifer Beals, impressive dancing and a great soundtrack. The first third of the movie and the rousing finale are highly memorable, but the midsection drags due to boring plot elements involving supporting characters far less interesting than the protagonist and her struggle to fulfill her dreams.
