Such an underrated film. It is visually stunning and the acting is top notch from everyone but the standout is Salma Hayek, her portrayal of Frida Kahlo is absolutely wonderful. 8 years 7 months ago -

Watching this was a wonderful experience. Such bright colours, so much art and such interesting paintings, such passion... really interesting and very unusual.
I loved the way paintings of people would blend into scenes with real actors and I loved the use of alienated colours in other scenes. Some scenes were really funny, including one of the most interesting speeches I ever heard at a wedding :)
