While this was a good step forward in terms of queer representation and presence in media, it relied on racist, cissexist, lesbophobic, and biphobic humor to further the acceptance of white, cis, gay men. Not diggin that bit, although the movie overall was pretty funny.
As for the homophobes that dislike this because it was "so gay"

I'm not giving this a thumbs down - as rileywatches pointed out - because of the cissexist/biphobic/lesbophobic/racist digs trying to portray itself as "humor"... I'm primarily giving this a thumbs down because the film looked like a bad senior thesis in film school. You could see the goddamn boom in almost every shot that had a mirror! The lighting was AWFUL and completely amateur. The eye-lines of the characters didn't match... these are big mistakes that a feature should not be making.
