This is probably the silliest movie I've watched all year. They either didn't know what they were doing, or knew exactly what they were doing and played the whole thing tongue-in-cheek. This feels like what its source matereal is: A Toy Commercial. Be sure to pick up your own rocket helicoper, dune-buggy tank, and assault motorcycles after the movie!

This is no Transformers 2, because Michael Bay is actually trying to be serious when he makes such huge dung heaps. Joe 2 is meant to be silly, and should only be watched if you're in the mood for a movie about paramilitary flying ninjas fighting with swords and guns on the side of a mountain, for no other reason than that it's kind of cool. This is a movie for your inner 10-year old, before you knew why movies like this suck.

Two hours of uninvestable action aimed at teenage American males. Also, the Joes stand around watching while Cobra Commander kills millions of people in an act of terror that is never mentioned again.

How do you start a fight sequence when you have the two best ninjas in the world facing each other? Oh!! I know! Use a gun! Right? Disappointing.

I thought it was gloriously tongue in cheek. What many interpreted as plain stupidity I thought was deliberate joyful silliness on the part of the writers, things the older audiences can smile at but still seem awesome to its younger target. The scene at the end with the world leader summit was comedy gold.

I enjoy bad movies once in a while, but I wish all bad movies would stick to the 90 minute rule.

It was going ok up until spoiler then the film just went out of the window. I feel sorry for the people who paid to see this in the cinema.

More reminiscent of an '80s action film than a contemporary Hollywood blockbuster - a few expensive set pieces here and there, but for the most part it's a relatively unappealing mix of cheesy dialogue and simple run & gun scenes.

Not a bad movie per se in my opinion, but nothing spectacular either. The Paris chase from The Rise of Cobra remains my favorite sequence of the two G. I. Joe pictures.

The plot was more ludicrous that the first movie, but was not nearly as much fun to watch. Most of the action scenes were tired and boring. None of the characters were even remotely fleshed out.
