Good film, interesting subject matter. It's basically a conglomeration of portrayals that are well executed, but it isn't particularly well balanced. For example, its mentioned several times that the non haves aspire to become wealthy or at least to have the illusion of wealth, but they are mostly not in the film... And because this is lacking, the attempt at broader cultural analysis kinda falls flat... But then again, maybe the point of the film is just to show that wealthy does not imply happy, and apparently having kids does ;) 2 years 6 months ago
