It's bad. Not the worst movie ever, but it's at times hatefully unfunny. I don't think anyone ever sets out to make a bad film, but it doesn't feel like they set out to make a good one either. Leslie Jones was far and away my favorite character and made me laugh the most.
A thoroughly enjoyable film. The cast was brilliant, the cameos were awesome and the story overall was well paced. Huge original Ghostbusters fan and this film filled me with Nostalgia, for those worried this would ruin the originals, they couldn't be more wrong! Looking forward to seeing it again :-)
Much better than it seemed by the trailers. It's funny (Kate McKinnon in particular), the characters are alright, the effects seem like an evolution of the first movies. The plot drives much from the originals, but The Force Awakens proved it's not necessarily a bad thing. The references to the other Ghostbusters even add to the fun (specially the cameos by the original cast). Though nothing justifies what Fallout Boy did to the theme song.
Pointless unfunny remake. Bad story, no jokes, sloppy editing and zero thrills. Not a big fan of the Original but that one was a masterpiece compared too this crap
The pointless cameos were Sharknado level unnecessary. I know you're watching a movie right now, and things are happening, but can we stop for a second and just point out that Dan Ackroyd was one of the original ghostbusters? There he is, driving a cab! He has some lines, let's hang on a sec while he does them. All done? Okay, back to the film now.
Not as bad as i though. Made me laugh a couple times and i did not expect that.
At times it was just plain painfully unfunny and cringeworthy though...
Kate McKinnon’s character was amazing.

Good fun, not as great as the original, fucking phenomenal cast. Too bad about Fall Out Boy. Will definitely watch it a few more times.CSSCHNEIDER

Well considering that the cast hasn't even been finalised yet let alone filmed, I'm amazed that 20 people have seen this film so far.Suricata

Definitely not as bad as it was hyped to be. But a bad film, regardless. I would not recommend this one.justwannaboogie
Didn't crack a smile throughout the entire run-time. Not the abomination it looked like from the trailers, but still atrociously bad.stefenemie
Kate McKinnon is a star in the making. She outshines the bigger stars in the movie. Solid film that pays great homage to the original.SpacedJ

Absolutely terrible, and I say that as someone who generally enjoyed Kristin Wiig's and Kate McKinnon's work on SNL.Sk1337

Sorry, not nearly as bad as the internet led me to believe. Yes, all female cast but plot stuck. No Ocean's 8 up in here.vendetta
