   I was expecting a total cheesefest, yet I got this really interesting look at Korean history and... I just can't go on, that's not the truth, it's how I wish I could've started this review, but nope, cheese, all the cheese, right here. It's like Korean Forrest Gump without the retardation and with much more of God awful old people makeup.
   
   And when will Koreans learn that westerners don't want to be in their movies and will do their very best to act accordingly. To this day I've yet to see a Korean film with even decent western actors, pretty sure they use ANY westerners thay can find on the streets of Seoul for the parts. Uninterested villains nearly ruined the best Korean movie of all time, Joint Security Area.
   
   Holy tearjerk Batman! This movies wants you to cry, it demands it from you and God darnit it got to me during the Campaign to Reunite Ten Million Divided Families telethon scene, but boy did I feel used. Curly Hair (Jung-Min Hwang) and Moley (Dal-Su Oh) both do decent job as always, but I want more grit from Curly Hair, last two watchable movies from him have been these feel-good movies, first this and then Veteran. He needs to go back to roles like the ones in a Bittersweet Life, The Unjust and New World. Such high hopes for The Wailing. 7 years 8 months ago
