@ Quanthor ''Give it a different name and it's a horror classic because it's a Carpenter film through and through.''

This movie doesn't have much to do with John Carpenter accept for the Halloween name.

And by the way, I think it's a good thing Michael Myers doesn't appear in this movie, because he was definitely dead at the end of Halloween II.

The biggest problem with the film is not that it doesn't feature Michael Myers or hasn't got anything to do with the Halloween franchise, but rather that it's a shitty movie which is neither scary, thrilling, entertaining or anything. Hard to the say what's more ridiculous: our charmless protagonist, the goofy plot or that annoything jingle. Cinematography, music and that Carpenter vibe weren't bad, though.

How this is getting some kind of positive cult reexamination is mysterious to me.

Friday 13've seen it all, elm street and now I'm watching the saga of Michael Myers, who is not in this movie. this is the worst movie so far, really disappointing. the fourth begins after the second. deserves to belong to the saga? I say no.
