Standing apart from the book this movie is fantastic, however with the book in mind I can't help but feel slightly disappointed at the changing/missing out of a couple parts, if the movie is going to be split up into two parts, you have no excuse for missing out scenes in my opinion.I also feel as if the adverts made the movie out to be a huge battle, yet we were letdown in the film, I would have enjoyed a couple more minutes even of the battle as I thought the fight and effects were fantastic! Kingsleys spell against the death eater through the astronomy tower window for example!
Also couldn't help but realise how awful Daniel Radcliffes acting was yet again.
Despite these things I can't say I didn't love this film, its been part of my childhood and I have seen, loved and enjoyed every one so far, its sad to see it ending, but I am happy it was wrapped up like this!

My favorite of the eight films. They started out as child fantasy movies and slowly matured into something much darker. The first two movies were child friendly and fantastical but almost overly so, while the later films deviated from that becoming almost too gloomy. This was a beautiful wrap-up of the Harry Potter films with a perfect balance of the two.Janaina

Ignoring the book, I think it worked very well. You can't expect everything from the book to be in there. I think the Bellatrix death was fine, Mrs Weasley was fighting for her children and as such was obviously fired up.Rohit

It blew my mind. It was perfect aside from a few little things I (as a lover of the books) wish had been included. Even so, it was an incredible film!juliahearts
