I'm so glad every Potter series got so few critics' list.

There is something that I like in the Potter stories that is made clear in this movie: if something goes wrong in the education system of a nation, them everyone is threatened.

It can be Hogwarts, it can be in the real world.

I didn't like this movie at all. I'm a big fan of the franchise and this is the only movie I just cannot get into. But it was also my least favourite book, so, that could have had something to do with it.

Not bad. Quite dark and scary scenes, the part with Ron and Lavender was fun... but I really disliked some of the differences to the book that just made no sense.

I think the young Voldemort in the second film was better than this one, but still alright.

So far it's my third favorite film in the series. I found it extremely well done. I haven't seen the last two though (but I will watch them tomorrow and the day after tomorrow).
Also, at least so far my favorite HP movies are the ones that were based on my favorite HP books. I wonder if I'm going to like the last movies, because I didn't like the Deadly Hollows book very much. Either way, I'm pumped to see them.

The nightmarish qualities director David Yates brought to the 5th film, he perfects in The Half-Blood Prince, and finally the special effects seem on par with the story's requirements. The colors are muted, the cinematography stark and oppressive, and the landscapes wintry, as befits the end of a saga. The revelations come hard and fast, important characters start dying off, and we've left the silliness of school games behind in favor of character development and political intrigue. Though it's apparently not one of the most loved, perhaps because it's a lot of set-up for what's to come, Half-Blood Prince is the first Potter film I can put my unqualified recommendation behind. Shame we need to see the others to make sense of these stories. My one pet peeve - and it's one that carries over into the next two films - is the sound design, which makes every interior sound like a cathedral; what's with the reverb?

I have said Chamber of Secrets is stupid movie and I would say this one on par with Twilight series. Too much cheesy romantic scene (Lavender & Ron, Harry shit & Ginny, and hermione jealous with Ron ) why they didn't make a love story relationship between Draco and Dumbledore??

This movie, along with the entire series (with the exception of Prisoner of Azkaban) are terribly written, paced and executed. Dreadfully boring.
