Very interesting and emotional drama. It follows 3 different stories all related to death. Well acted and emotional movie could do with some editing and really needs a better ending. The movie builds up to an outcome that's frankly not that convincing or strong. But well worth a watch. Eastwood Always makes interesting movies. Opening scenes of the Tsunami are frightening.
I think this film wasn't quite working the way it was supposed to be. It was quite a mess, actually, really chaotic at times... first it was good to watch as the three stories started out in an interesting way - but the way they connected in the end was somehow not working for me.
I won't dislike it, because it includes some really good acting and had some emotional scenes, but I won't watch it again because it doesn't make sense to me. (Maybe I just don't get it...)
But, hang on. He goes to three psychics in a single day, one of which had just been said to be booked up for six weeks, anotherother, who he saw first, was just said to have been putting on a show at the night. What?

The first scene is an surprise in the movie and it disappoints as you start to expect something different from the movie. It seemed out of context.
With happy endings, all the allowable clichés and an sweet romances, it's one of the easiest Eastwood's movies, but it's outstandingly original by the veteran view from the director.
After all, seems like Eastwood, in his eighties, is preparing himself, and most of all, us, for his death.
The three stories didn't come together at all imo. As seperate stories they were allright but when they eventually got together i felt the end was rather disappointing.
I don't think it was as bad as people are saying. It was an amazing concept and I love Clint's movies but the one thing that took me away from it the entire time was the score. Worst score ever.
