It was actually half decent until a certain part, then the last half hour or so really brought the whole film down. It was always going to be watchable with Jennifer Lawrence in it though.emilythewhovian

As much as the film sucked, the plot twist got me. I did not see it coming at all and made me think "That's pretty clever." One of the better twists I've seen in quite awhile. Apart from that, it's not a well made film which is a shame because the story is really interesting. I'm sure in the right hands, HATES could have been good.IreneAdler

It's a pretty good thriller, but not a masterpice. Both Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot play their roles good, but the story is a little too predictable, although the story is interesting, and the twist works relatively well. The ending scene was probably one of the best moments in the movie, which is somewhat disappointing, but in general a good thriller.tigh66
It has a decent twist, but the execution of this film turns what probably would have been a good to great horror film into a slog. Jennifer Lawrence is never a bad thing though, and she does pretty well with what she is given(which isn't much).The One With Wen
