Despite trailer promises, the film focuses more on FDR's relationships with his mistresses than on the relationship between two great nations: USA & UK. I had hoped the union between the two nations would have been more personified by their respective leaders. Also, there are some small historical inaccuracies. 11 years 3 months ago -

I really wasn't expecting that, but I do love historical/biographical movies (especially when they aren't focused on the politics, but on the people), even thou I know they aren't a 100% correct.
I really recommend watching it, if you are a woman. I remember even [spoiler]getting mad at Mr. President for being such a cheater[/spoiler, but that's what happens when you are watching movies with good actors - they make you have some kind of reaction. 9 years 8 months ago
