I went in based on the title and gorgeous poster expecting an escapist fantasy and came out with wet eyes and a little disappointed that it wasn't escapist fantasy. I think if you know what type of movie you're watching, it's very well made. 5 years 11 months ago

It’s about a teenage girl who acts out and create a fantasy reality to cope with a personal tragedy.
Cool premise, but it is hard to enjoy a movie when you thoroughly dislike the main character.
The special effects are cool, cinematography and sceanery is beautiful, an eerie and good soundtrack, the acting is really good, and the end is actually kinda sad but none of this is enough to save this movie for me.
A big reveal/plot twist at the end you could see from a mile away didnt suprised me at all. The movie has its good moments, but i would not recommend it unless you are really bored and looking for some quick entertainment from Netflix. That’s my review, tissues not included.

Had no idea what this was about, glad that I did see it, although it's last half hour was mighty creaky in some respects. Skillwithaquill's review elsewhere in these comments might be right, although I haven't seen the movie they are referencing. Madison Wolfe is a charmer like Reese Witherspoon or Alicia Silverstone--I would love to see her in more movies. 5 years 6 months ago
