It's much more than just a 5.7 on IMDb and definitely better than the 2010 remake. The main actress it's not perfect, okay, but I think her flaws are minimal; her hysterical acting in the torture/rape scenes were pretty much what's to be expected imo.
One thing why I think this movie is worth watching in its own right is the story, pretty refreshing and almost as brutal as the 1978 original. 7 years 11 months ago -
