Finally rewatched this after not seeing it since I was a kid. Definitely the best Western I have ever seen. A Fistful of Dollars is also amazing, better than Yojimbo if you ask me.Joris B.
@ grit:''A Fistful of Dollars'' is a basically a Western remake of Kurosawa's ''Yojimbo''. ''For a Few Dollars More'' also stars Lee van Cleef (''The Bad'') along with Clint Eastwood. They're both really good and the soundtrack by Ennio Morricone is almost as good as the soundtrack for ''The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'' or ''Once Upon a Time in the West''.

I saw this one first, and it never occured to me it was part of a trilogy until I saw and read about one of the other movies.Summary: this movie stands on its own!

A very entertaining and stylish western with some classic scenes, but, when distilled to its essence, its plot is a fairly simple "follow the money" story.Excellent film, but not a favourite of mine.

Great western and great movie, Blondie is the best of the three main characters, I think that the best of the three hours is the very end, that it is fabulous, Clint Eastwood was amazing like always4/5

Right. So this is the last installment to the dollars trilogy (fistful of dollars, few dollars more, the good the bad and the ugly). It seems to me that few people are aware of this and i wonder if the 2 prequels suck. Should i watch them in order to understand the plot or does each movie stand on its own?TheLazy1
