Impressive. It's still pretty unknown how many Germans in the 50s didn't (want to) know about the Holocaust and Auschwitz in particular.

Whoever wrote "boring": Yeah, you're right, dealing with entrenched fascists in a postwar reconstruction period, after one of the worst genocides in human history--real boring...We truly are amusing ourselves to death.
