Was very pleasantly surprised by this one. I love being pleasantly surprised. Thought it was some sort of stupid sci-fi horror comedy due to the (intentional?) hilarious title but I was totally hooked from the first minute to the last. Terrific sci-fi thriller, intense and suspenseful, good score and some very interesting shots. A true gem of a film which I wish now that I had found and enjoyed sooner.

And yeah, I agree with come of the comments here ... Dana Wynter was smokin'.

A great, paranoid nightmare - even with the "happy ending" tacked on. Has that vintage Twilight Zone feel. Also I must concur with ArthurYanthar!

One of the best films of its time. It is filled with symbols of association to the political state at the time: Communism, Capitalism,... also making it clear how badly aliens (Soviets) wanted to invade Earth (U.S.).

The film also incorporates other existing genres, ex: Film noir and horror.

Most shots are medium eye- level shots though, the cinematography here lacks serious creativity.
