After a contrived Spiderman-style opening, Michael Biehn's unlikeable lead character claimed that The Death Zone is at "20,000ft" (6100m) rather than 8000m. That much I could forgive, but what are 2 climbers that have never been to 8000m before doing? They're strolling around there unsupported, without goggles or oxygen, despite no apparent acclimitisation climbs and not succumbing to snow-blindness, AMS or an edema. Meanwhile you've got a supposedly super-experienced climber going on oxygen at Base Camp.

There's cheesy dialogue a-plenty, and to top off the implausibility of their acclimitisation, the wind barely picks up at all, there's no mention of the main K2 obstacles (House's Chimney, Black Pyramid or the Bottleneck) and the whole thing is made out to be not much more than a slightly dangerous day's hiking rather than a 70+ day expedition.

Kim Newman of Empire magazine once said:

On this evidence, climbing K2 can't be any harder than sitting through it!

Sums it all up really.
