Knife Skills plays like an episode of a TLC or Food Network reality show. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I'm only highlighting how its structure feels. It shows the opening night of this restaurant, then chronicles the six-week journey that newly released prisoners must make to become a cook.
It's really heartwarming and has some nice emotional moments. I don't think it will stick with me, however, the way some other shorts did. 6 years 2 months ago -
