Like several other commenters, though this was good fun. Pretty much what was advertised too, so anyone expecting anything other than Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in some deliberately silly action sequences and mass-market comedy had their expectations set all wrong.

No classic, but fun enough.

Hmm, I didnt expect much of it and indeed one of the worst movies i have seen this year. The was no spark between Cruise and Diaz and Tom Cruise wasnt very convincing in his not funny over the top action scenes.

The encounter between a mysterious secret agent on a mission and a normal working class woman, and the resulting action packed happenings form the crux of the plot. A battery with great energy capabilities is the key plot device.

The film is straightforward and works primarily because of the chemistry between the lead pair, the great locations and some spellbinding action blocks.

Watchable once.

This one is underrated. It's ridiculous but fun and has enough good humour to keep it ticking over.

Knight and Day looks for all the world like a fluff piece, an action romcom starring Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise, the latter trading on his Mission: Impossible persona, but it's a lot better than it looks! In fact, it's really very entertaining! Because it's a comedy, it allows itself to embrace the absurdity of big budget action movie stunts and go for broke. Cruise's rogue agent is impossibly good at the action stuff, and because we're not taking this very seriously, it's huge fun. Much of the comedy comes from his being slightly "off" when it comes to social interaction, a sort of savant when it comes to superspy work, but otherwise a little clueless. Diaz does a pretty good job and isn't always a damsel in distress. In fact, you can tell when they switch roles because the camera starts cutting out when HE'S unconscious, as opposed to when SHE is. A bit movie script 101 at the end there, but a nice roller-coaster ride you probably missed first time around.

When I first saw the trailer for this, I thought "Gaah, Cameron Diaz is screaming too much in this", but after finally watching the movie, I was positively surprised.
The action scenes are brilliant, and the humor isn't too much, as I feared it would be.

Not bad. After the woeful reviews it got I had pretty low expectations but I found it refreshingly anti-seriuous and hilariously OTT.

One of the few funny films to come out in 2010 infused with genuinely great action set pieces and a "Last Action Hero" vibe. Great stuff.
