Splendid masterpiece!! A kind of movie most Americans will never understand, they need a plot and a hero character LOL!! They don't have the finesse and can't understand the subtlety of love, anger, disgrace and many other desires and feelings presented in the movie..

no, I don't get Fellini. Why is he considered a genius?! I've watched quite a few of his films and it's the same thing in every one of them: no plot, no coherent characters, too long, too boring, too pretentious...
Although there are truly magnificent frames in this movie and I truly appreciate the technical abilities that crew has, the length of some sequences of these frames make the movie difficult to focus in. I find the non-linear storytelling adds some contrast to the movie however once again the viewer is having difficulties in building connections to the characters since there are too many jumps between them.
Some good some bad, I don't call this movie a masterpiece, not a favorite of mine.
There are no other ways to describe this than with the kind of love and admiration one has for the medium itself, and how glad I am to have finally witnessed the kind of work that makes watching cinema a necessary part of life. •••
