This is a great movie, and could have been in some lists. Not that that would make it a better film, just to say it is underrated.

I may be stupid, but I know that watching this film was a disgusting experience for me, and what difference does the language make? Are you sure we are all talking about the same movie? Roger Ebert gave it 2 stars and writes,"Marco Ferreri's "The Grand Bouffe" is to gastronomy as "The Exorcist" is to "Song of Bernadette," which is to say eat before you go, you won't be hungry afterward.
