this animated historic movie is illustrated from historic engravings and explains the history of the Commune de Paris, when in 1871, after the defeat against Germany, common people of Paris kept their weapons and build the Commune, a social Republic which established free education, free press, citizenship to foreigners, recognize free union couples and children, and a lot of social measures for the poor such as requisitions and free meals. After 72 days the Revolution has been crushed in a bloodbath by the monarchist government.
