Sweet little Pixar film, just don't expect anything groundbreaking. As always, the animation is great and just makes you want to visit the town of Porto Rosso (or any small Italian village). Watch out for numerous references to Italian products, besides vocabulary, and even a Fellini film!
Also, note a great short cameo for Sacha Baron Cohen as an anglerfish. He has a bonus appearance after the credits :)
I can't believe this was Pixar. Did their interns make it? This felt like D-tier storytelling and B-tier animation. My kids didn't notice the difference, but I definitely did. What a let-down!

The reimagining of the Ligurian coast alone is worth the watch, and the story is incredibly cute.Emiam
8/10Wow! Great film. CGI really good. Cosy environment. Heartwarming.

Almost forgot to rate it by the end. The large subtext is apparently mainly in the first 30 minutes, perhaps 28 subtle referencesGreat developments, enjoyable and good but not as deep as any prior Pixar 6/10
