One of the strongest, darkest Shakespeare adaptations made. A perfect adaptation for both Shakespeare lovers and those who shy away from his work.

Good acting and nice visuals, but pretty boring. The best Macbeth adaptation I have seen is Kurosawa's Throne of Blood.

I just saw this and was completely amazed by how incredibly well it captures the nightmarish hell in which Macbeth and his wife live (metaforically and poetically in the play, visually in this movie). The work of cinematographer Adam Arkapaw is just mesmerizing.

Visually stunning. Great adaptation of the text. Fassbender is perfect. It's ominous, it's bold, it's remarkable.

Sorry folks, a bit miss from me. And this is from someone who loves his Shakespeare, and 'dark brooding' films, slow films, quiet dialog films (hey gimmie a good miserable Bergman, and I'm happy) . films that lots of people consider boring .....
But this, sorry, but even I'd call it slow, miserable, dull, boring.
Tomorrow. ........................................ and ................. tomorrow ........................... I ................ may ........... finish ................. this ............ sentance..........
Oh dear, I feel bad for not liking it ..
