   Arnie delivers one of his most impressively restrained performances to date, and the way the film is shot feels almost Malick-esque, but the emotional stakes never quite hit home as hard as they're meant to and there's a complete absence of dramatic tension given that the way the film plays out is more or less inevitable from its very first moments. 8 years 11 months ago

   contemplating the murder of your daughter before she eats you or someone else

   not dramatic or tense?
   
   I don't have much else to say about the film (as others have already said the positives for me), but I will say this: I loved the ending. Absolutely beautiful. 5 years 1 month ago

   I'm astonished this is rated as low as it is.
   
   I must admit, seeing Arnold in a more serious role, I was a little sceptical. And yet he pulls it off; not just tolerably, but very, very well.
   
   Perfect pacing, the right amount of gore and creepiness, a realistic approach to the crisis itself, and an times sedate view of what is really a horrid situation to be in.
