Really good film. And important. Really good acting, good chemistry. I can see the Tennessee Williams comparisons on director Fran.
Main question in the film: Is it possible to move on after such an incident?
The screenplay is good and eventually quite touching. The ensemble is obviously out of this world, especially Plimpton. But all I kept thinking was that this is almost anti-cinema-- and the attempts to justify telling this story as a film (changing aspect ratio, switching to hand-held camera when emotions run high) didn't convince me-- they felt a bit basic. Not bad. Sorta underwhelming though.
