This is a hard movie to watch due to its slow pace and depressing subject matter, but it is well worth watching. Also, I don't mean to say that it is boring as it is not. More like hard to watch like Requiem for a Dream is.The movie centers around a young widow who moves with her son to a small town where her late husband was born. After tragedy strikes her again, she is overcome with grief she struggles to find salvation and peace to fill the gap in her heart. The lead actress is fantastic and gives an award-winning performance. 4 years 9 months ago -
deckard.
First 50 min, you feel like this is another generic drama about a widower and his son but boy does it take a turn for the interesting!
the middle part especially offers some food for thought. definitely a must see. 1 year 10 months ago -

I tried, but when I thought I was getting into the movie it went in a new direction for the worst. The flow was just not there. 7 years 3 months ago
