   Very fine details to the point where Majewski loses the big picture. Majewski claims his team was so obsessive that they videotaped live spiders in order to determine which leg their CGI version should step out on. The dedication put into this film is evident and pays off especially for anyone into Flemish art. Each scene is dripping with elegance like watching a milkmaid pouring cream from a jug. But is the director educating us or simply sharing the delight of his preoccupation? Majewski himself is not sure if this is a documentary. Maybe it's a bit (self-)indulgent. 12 years 7 months ago
