It felt like a nice antithesis to 2001: A space odyssey. It had a solid objective to its plot, with one of the few endearing artificial intelligence characters I've seen in a movie.

A sci fi puzzle movie in the style of Silent Running, Outland, etc. Going into specifics will surely ruin some of the many surprises the story has in store for audiences, so I won't. I will say that though it has a hard SF premise, it's really a very actor-y and sensitive film, a great vehicle for Sam Rockwell (with Kevin Spacey's voice in the role of the computer), never goes where you think it will, and looks really good. You won't believe this flick cost only 5 million dollars, but it gets there through old school tricks like miniatures, string-assist and forced perspective sets. You won't be able to tell.

I pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this film. I'm not big on the sci-fi genre, but this had me from the start. It definitely was snubbed by the Academy. The performance by Sam Rockwell was fantastic. Definitely deserved a nomination. The cinematography also was deserving, IMHO.

Moon is a really good movie. Duncan Jones is a talented director as Rockwell is a good actor. The story rings very true about human nature and the path we are choosing for ourselves. Loneliness is a terrible thing indeed. The sad part is that we are ultimately alone in the world. Even when we are walking amidst a crowd.

Pretty simple sci-fi. Once the film starts moving along, it was obvious what's going on, if you've ever seen a bit of Star Trek or other genre classics. However I did enjoy the journey and the characters. It's nice to see some non-action, non-exploding, non-shooting bit of science fiction still being made for today's ADHD movie-going audience. Definitely worth watching.

Wouldn't really call it a psychological thriller but definitely a thriller none the less. Man, Sam Rockwell would've had a hard job acting all of this, but it payed off at the end. Pretty predictable but awesome characters and plot.

Lonely and beautiful film. Sometimes I felt more attached to Gerty, haha.

Great movie. First I thought it's going to be about something completely else.

But in the end it sure tackles some interesting questions.

I bet that the stuntmen in this movie relate to the movie's subject matter the most.

I enjoyed this movie! However I did find it rather depressing. I feel like it could easily be something that takes place in the future. And I'm not going to reveal what that is because you have to watch the movie for yourself.

Very good sci-fi drama with an excellent performance by Sam Rockwell. Only the ending could be a bit stronger.
