felt a tad bit propaganda-ish but looking at the year i guess it makes sense. at times also very episodic and disjointed.
it did also possess some heartfelt moments like the rose cup (rigged AF) and the car scene near the end
the old woman fixes the awards ceremony makes no sense! she said 2 minutes earlier how much it meant to her "I've won that cup for as long as i can remember"

I totally agree with "aneic". I found this film to be both heartbreaking and uplifting.
