Written by Wes Craven. He should have stopped there.

Wes Craven directed it but I think that's where the problems are. It seems disjointed.

I did keep me guessing about a number of things and the twists were effective in keeping doubt alive. Not a great movie but worth the time.

The Pirate

After I saw this my friend had to explain to me that it wasn't a spoof on the horror genre. That's what it felt like to me: like all the cliches, all the bad writing, and all the horrible acting was a joke. But I guess it was just a failed attempt at a horror movie, which is shocking since Craven did it.

I wish it was a little scarier though. But other that that it was a really good movie.
