An unusual and confusingly plotted Icelandic thriller of long hidden murder and hereditary illness that ultimately comes together but not without some head scratching on the way that tests the patience. A lot of the behaviour of the main characters is downright bizarre and made me wonder whether that was the fault of the screenplay or a general weirdness of Icelanders.
