Though wildly melodramatic I still found it staggeringly creepy and the court sequence infuriating. The last 20 minutes sadly dips into exploitation, but ultimately Hammer made a film with a conscience and I wish they hadn't been battered for it. It's a very good film. 7 years 3 months ago -
