I never understood the critical acclaim (at least on Rotten Tomatoes) for this movie. The story feels as if the life of Nicky Barnes was made into a morality play for a TV movie or a miniseries. And, in my opinion, it's only notable for unleashing one of the creepiest/cheesiest love songs on the public, Color Me Badd's "I Wanna Sex You Up." 12 years 12 months ago -
