This film needs more popularity and deserves to be rediscovered as a minor cult classic. Henry Winkler's dry, almost delicately understated humour carries the film with Keaton's trade mark manic energy and Shelley Long's surprisingly competent turn as a prostitute completing a solid and funny line-up. Well worth a watch. 8 years 2 months ago -

I mainly watched this for Michael Keaton. He’s such fun person to watch. It was pretty good too! Very “80s comedy,” so if you like things like Money Pit or Bachelor Party or things like that, you’ll probably enjoy it. It’s a fun time with some really good laughs and intriguing scheme. It’s fun watching how the business comes together and unfolds. And Shelley Long can do no wrong imo. 7 years 10 months ago -

What a fun overlooked movie. Feels like a Reiner/Ephron collaboration ahead of its time. It's all about connecting on a human level. So many great lines and Keaton absolutely steals the show. Him and Winkler were basically like Dante and Randall. Hold on, did this inspire Clerks? 3 years 10 months ago
