What a perfect waste of a wonderful topic. Regardless of the controversy surrounding the casting of Zoe Seldana, the movie is just plain bad. Instead of spanning the whole life of this extraordinary woman, and using the washed out end of her life as a counterpoint to all she'd done, and of her musical genius, the movie focuses on a few years and a relationship that proves more insignificant than interesting.
