Now that's what I call a twist ending! Good movie! A twist that only M. Night Shammylammydingdong could only hope to make (and no, if he doesn't put any efforts in any of his movies I won't put any effort in spelling his name).

Great movie, too bad none of the other movies in the trilogy are in any lists.

This is the ultimate revenge flick. It has a very disturbing twist that left me stunned.

I think I liked it...but this seems like the type of movie that I need to see multiple times to really grasp it. Definitely one of the biggest "WTF" movies I've ever seen.

Aeon Rio

It was okay but didn't really buy the hypnosis shit.

This film is based on a manga, btw. The mangaka is Garon Tsuchiya.

And of course, the revenge is not justified. spoiler

This is not the kind of twist end I was expecting... Made me sick. Not for me.

Based on a manga I've never heard of, it's the story of a man who gets mysteriously imprisoned for 15 years, then released and given 5 days to find out why. Its comic book roots are visible in the clever editing and camera work I've come to expect from Asian cinema, but it's the story more than the style that really gripped me. Oldboy features some very shocking images and plot twists, and I never quite knew where it was going. I'm as impressed with it visually as anything. Whether showing something pretty or ugly, the screen drips with lusciousness.

Great Movie. Very entertaining. Is not so gore, but maybe I am just not normal.
