Now that's what I call a twist ending! Good movie! A twist that only M. Night Shammylammydingdong could only hope to make (and no, if he doesn't put any efforts in any of his movies I won't put any effort in spelling his name).

Great movie, too bad none of the other movies in the trilogy are in any lists.

This is the ultimate revenge flick. It has a very disturbing twist that left me stunned.

I think I liked it...but this seems like the type of movie that I need to see multiple times to really grasp it. Definitely one of the biggest "WTF" movies I've ever seen.

This movie is like a partially burned, cheese omelette. Delicious at times, too much at others, and ripe with the potential to cling to my innards in both pleasant and horrible ways for many years to come. Amazing choreography, wonderful music and a sickeningly perfect twist are the feathers in the film's cap. An anime-esque, over-the-top villain, and some awkward pacing/dialogue moments are the blackeyes. Not for the faint of heart!

This movie by far my favorite of all time. I've seen it at least 15 times. When I talk about it to people, I still only get glimpses of it, like if I am thinking of a dream that I mostly forgot... This movie still stays a mystery for me, and Choi Min-Sik is and will always be the biggest riddle as an actor. He is on a different level and I think he should be considered as one of the greatest actor, after seeing most of his films. Oldboy is simply the equivalent of genius work for the acting, the directing and let's not forget the music which is divine.

Saw it finally and was stunned totally. The soundtrack is a collector's item and the kind of vendetta and payback shown in this film, are hard to find in any other. Great acting by the male lead and all the support characters.

Surreal stuff, particularly when the film reveals some of the key moments like the flashback and also the reason for the 15 years in prison.

And the screenplay is one of a kind and constantly keeps us hooked and on our toes.

CLASSIC

though the twist i DID see coming for a little while before the reveal, this was an amazing movie. the hammer scene is beautifully choreographed and the internet can't seem to get over it. excellent cinematography, great directing, amazing acting, all round this was one of the most depressing, awesome movies i have watched
